My Indoor Water Fountain Accident :(

My accident was a couple of days ago and my parents still don’t know about it. I want to keep it hidden for as long as I can so that means finding new indoor water fountains online. But before the search begins; I’ll tell you what happened.

My parents went on holiday a week ago. They are away for two weeks and this gives me enough time to sort out the problem. As they are away I usually begin to act different around the house and this meant a little football. I’d kick the ball around and pretend that I’m a professional. The issue is that I’m not, and I don’t have great control.

When a friend came round, we began chatting and kicking the ball back and forth. I accidentally kicked the football too hard; it clipped off the wall and knocked the wall water fountain to the floor. It broke into a thousand pieces and we just stood staring at the mess. My parents loved that fountain and though I’m not stressed, I wish I hadn’t seen it smash to the floor.

After I’d cleared the mess and seen my friend out I quickly went online. I needed to find the same style and get it delivered quickly. With the water fountain being broken it was hard to tell if I was picking the right one, even though I’d seen it a lot in the past. I ended up buying one, and now I just have to wait until it turns up. Fingers crossed!

Birdbaths and Beyond

During the summer we came to the conclusion that our garden isn’t only for us. There are plenty of animals and that come to feed and we have to look after them. Despite the racoons, foxes and various cats that come by, we have a lot of birds that use this as their home. So we wanted them to enjoy their time.

In our garden we have porch swings, water features and various benches. But these are all for us. So the next thing we aimed to purchase was a birdbath. We didn’t realize they came in so many different styles though, and after looking for an hour we still hadn’t decided. There was the leaf gnome birdbath and the 2-tier solar bird bath. But when we finally laid our eyes on the Dragonfly we knew it was the one for us. It had a great design and was simple while still being effective. The next thing we moved onto was feeding the birds.

There were also various styles of bird feeder. We could choose the types that hang from trees, or ones that stand up. So we decided to buy a few simpler versions and put them in different areas of the garden. This way more birds could get food and they wouldn’t all be huddled in the same areas. After this we also looked at bird houses. We liked to buy recycled items and picked the eco friendly bluebird house. We purchased three of these and set them up near the feeders.

The world is going eco friendly in every area of our homes. If it isn’t new energy saving light bulbs it will be taps that help conserve water. But this doesn’t only help the world; it also keeps you from spending too much money on utilities. Good Luck Charm: Water Fountains

I’m not a superstitious person, but I think my water fountains bring me good luck. I have around 5 or 6 tabletop fountains in the house, and my wife says I can’t have anymore. And each one gives me a good feeling when I enter the room. Though there’s one which is more special than most.

The special garden fountain is outside. It brings the garden to life and is one of the focus points for when we have guests. I bought it online and is called the Provence outdoor floor fountain. It’s a larger size than my other fountains and on occasion, I’ll throw a coin in and make a wish. I’m not the only person to do this, as friends and family have also done the same.

I can say whether it works for other people. But it certainly brings me luck. Just the other day I threw a coin in the fountain that I had found in the garden. I went back inside my home and got an e-mail from a website company. They had replied to a competition I’d entered online and said that I was a winner. I couldn’t stop smiling, though my wife wasn’t as happy.

When the competition prize turned up at home I opened the box and saw my brand new wall fountain! I’d never had a wall fountain before and the truth is, I never thought I’d have one. But because I won, here it was, and it looked great. Wall fountains could be my next approach to making the home look better.

Birthday Gift Surprise

For my birthday this year I was taken my complete surprise. I had only mentioned the present once and I had no idea how my partner knew I still liked them. So when I opened the gift wrapping to find a copper fountain I was amazed. Copper fountains are great to look at and we had seen them in a local store.

When we saw the indoor water fountains I was amazed at how good they looked. The different sizes they came in had me looking online but I had never mentioned this to anyone. I was thinking of buying one as a surprise, but in the end I was the one surprised.

I had even thought about where I wanted to place one in the house, the size I wanted and the design. And my partner had chosen the exact one I had decided on. I didn’t know how they had found out until I asked and found out exactly how they did it.

My partner was keeping a close eye on everything I was looking at online. Sometimes after I finished what I was doing, went to get a drink or even went to the toilet, my partner checked my history. This might seem like a bad thing to do, and I’m glad I didn’t look at anything bad, but in the end it turned out well.

On my birthday it was one of the best things to get and I was amazed. I never saw it coming and it makes me look forward to every birthday from now on.

In the last few months feng shui has changed my life. Before being introduced to it I was stressed, feeling down and going nowhere. Now though, I have a new lease of life and am starting to feel like a better person.

What are some Accessories for my Water Fountain?

Like many people, I expected to set up my water fountains and just leave them. You get them to start; the water comes out, what more would I need to be doing? This was an easy way of thinking for a few months, maybe more. But then the fountain started to break and I needed to work out why, which isn’t an easy job.

One of the main reasons is a blockage, which can happen for a number of reasons. One which comes up a lot is algae and can be easily reversed. By buying a fountain cleaner water solution is clear and treated for around 30-80 gallons. Simple, I thought. That’s another job out of the way for another year.

I was wrong. I needed to clean the frame, or replace it as the metal began to look rusty. This wasn’t an easy job, though luckily for me I could sit next to the pond and do it by hand. Some would need to go out on a boat.

When I started cleaning my water fountains I realized that I needed to do more than one job. There were LED lights that needed changing and water fountain pebbles that looked a little old. These were jobs that could take a day’s work to complete but must be done.

So after realizing the size of my task, I went online and found some more fountain accessories to help make the job easier. Fountains might not need a lot of work all the time, but make sure not to leave them for too long or the problems mount up.
