Add Engraved Stones to your Indoor Water Fountain

My indoor water fountains are great for the general feeling of my home. But I have found a way to make them more individual than most. This makes my fountains individual and many people comment on them when they visit.

You can only do this with certain style of fountain. You will need one which either has stones at the bottom, or an area where you can place your own stones. This can be done with certain wall fountains, such as the Cascade Springs fountain or the El Leon outdoor wall fountain. If you need an indoor floor fountain then the Eclipse Floor fountain works great.

The next step is to find somewhere to buy engraved stones. I’m sure you can work out where this is going now. You’ll need to get stones that can fit into your fountain and engrave them with messages that you see as appropriate. When you receive these stones the idea is to place them in the fountain. This will make your indoor fountains special.

I have done this with a couple of fountains in my home and have chosen themes for each one. For one is love, and on each stone is something that holds close to my heart. On another fountain it’s hope and each stone has something that will help me in life. Each time I go past the fountain I will see a stone and its message. The fountains not only help me relax with their soothing sounds and style, but also the messages they hold.

Interior Decoration Troubles: Indoor Water Fountains

How I lead to getting a Custom Water Fountain

When we were decorating I knew that we had something missing. There was a void that needed to be filled and the room wasn’t complete until it was filled. We were struggling to work out what we needed until my father came to visit and said we needed indoor fountains. The problem was that there were a lot of different styles to choose from.

To begin with there was the stone wall fountains. With such elegance and style I feel in love with them straight away. My favorite was the Attica Crown Stone Wall fountain and I knew it would be perfect on our wall. It would complete the room and we could stop looking for the final touches. I wasn’t the only one with an opinion though and my partner had a different choice.

Instead of my decision there was the option of a marble wall fountain. They looked good and would fit in our room, but I still liked my decision more. My partner was looking at an Inspiration Falls stainless steel marble fountain. I have to admit it looked good and had a certain style that no other fountain had. But I still wasn’t sure.

There are so many choices that we still haven’t decided but know that an indoor wall fountain is what we need. We’ll keep looking and in the end have to make a decision, but doing that is harder than it looks. Maybe we’ll just get a custom water fountain so we know we are getting EXACTLY what we want.

My Indoor Water Fountain Accident :(

My accident was a couple of days ago and my parents still don’t know about it. I want to keep it hidden for as long as I can so that means finding new indoor water fountains online. But before the search begins; I’ll tell you what happened.

My parents went on holiday a week ago. They are away for two weeks and this gives me enough time to sort out the problem. As they are away I usually begin to act different around the house and this meant a little football. I’d kick the ball around and pretend that I’m a professional. The issue is that I’m not, and I don’t have great control.

When a friend came round, we began chatting and kicking the ball back and forth. I accidentally kicked the football too hard; it clipped off the wall and knocked the wall water fountain to the floor. It broke into a thousand pieces and we just stood staring at the mess. My parents loved that fountain and though I’m not stressed, I wish I hadn’t seen it smash to the floor.

After I’d cleared the mess and seen my friend out I quickly went online. I needed to find the same style and get it delivered quickly. With the water fountain being broken it was hard to tell if I was picking the right one, even though I’d seen it a lot in the past. I ended up buying one, and now I just have to wait until it turns up. Fingers crossed!

Birdbaths and Beyond

During the summer we came to the conclusion that our garden isn’t only for us. There are plenty of animals and that come to feed and we have to look after them. Despite the racoons, foxes and various cats that come by, we have a lot of birds that use this as their home. So we wanted them to enjoy their time.

In our garden we have porch swings, water features and various benches. But these are all for us. So the next thing we aimed to purchase was a birdbath.  We didn’t realize they came in so many different styles though, and after looking for an hour we still hadn’t decided. There was the leaf gnome birdbath and the 2-tier solar bird bath. But when we finally laid our eyes on the Dragonfly we knew it was the one for us. It had a great design and was simple while still being effective. The next thing we moved onto was feeding the birds.

There were also various styles of bird feeder. We could choose the types that hang from trees, or ones that stand up. So we decided to buy a few simpler versions and put them in different areas of the garden. This way more birds could get food and they wouldn’t all be huddled in the same areas. After this we also looked at bird houses. We liked to buy recycled items and picked the eco friendly bluebird house. We purchased three of these and set them up near the feeders.
